3D Reflection 39 - Texturing floors and Starting an Asset Zoo

I applied a lapis lazuli inlay for the courtyard floor to make it more interesting. I had to go back and edit the UVs slightly in 3Ds Max as there was a part overhanging the UV space, which resulted in messed up tiling.

For the pond hero asset piece, I started with the plain sandstone texture, and added soil to the top for the plants.

I then applied alpha lotus patterns to the sides, as well as painting on some green stems.

A gold trim was applied to the edges, and I used lapis lazuli for the base.

I wanted to see what assets I had all in once place, and so I started applying materials to my meshes and arranging them to make an asset zoo. This zoo developed as I went on with the project.

I applied the alpha texture by using the opacity input.

I also experimented with the skylight, but left it it as a midday sky as that was the sky I would use for my level.
