The moodboard for the L-Shaped tomb room was reorganised and tidied.
I did a presentation pass on the thumbnails.
For the smaller furnishings, I did some material callouts. I also added in some iterations for a light source, in the form of an incense burner.
I previously explored statues I would use in the tomb, and decided that Osiris best fit as he was the god of eternal life and resurrection, as well as being the Pharaoh's favoured god. I neatened up the canopic chests also.
Next I explored the hollowed wall that the statues would be placed along, as well as figuring out the arrangement and the material of the statue.
I used this more efficient technique of exploring wall designs, which were a lot more effective according to my tutors.
Next I applied colours using reference and photobashing passages from the book of the dead, as this was appropriate for a tomb.
Using the material swatches to design the floor was also an effective and efficient method of designing,
For the ceiling I did a simple layout sketch and created some iterations for the ceiling and ceiling cap. I used the starred ceiling from my moodboard as inspiration.
I then arranged my walls and floor into one page to see what space I had to work with for the furnishings.
I edited and used my damage moodboard to help me create more detailed damages on areas like my walls, and broken statues.
I created a page following this to explore specific areas of damage, such as defaced gods and pharaohs, and broken tombs.
I put all of my exploration into a final concept. I applied callouts of smaller details like the damages, so that a 3D artist could model them.
